The location of this place was perfect! It was just a short walk from the train station and also very close to the city center. I loved how quiet and peaceful it was, tucked away from all the noise of the city. Another great thing about this place was the well-equipped kitchen. And the best part was the lovely yard in the back where I could relax and enjoy the outdoor space.

There were a few small things that could be improved. there was no hand towel or bath mat in the bathroom, which would have been nice to have.

Has comfortable beds, everything clean. The location is great and nice, situated really close to the city center. The employees working here are excellent.

As a leisure traveler, I had an enjoyable stay at Haus Schonwald for two nights. The house was beautiful and had generous amenities provided by the host. The bed was comfortable, and our host offered us tea and coffee in the morning. The shared bathroom, only shared between two rooms, was not an inconvenience. The location was good, with only a 5-10 minute walk to the city center. Peter, our host, was excellent and provided clear and concise information about the property and the local area. He was always available to answer any questions and even arranged a taxi for our departure. A great host in a vibrant neighborhood!

I was lucky to find this gem in Freiburg! The location is perfect, close to everything and the price is super reasonable. The house is typical German, clean, warm and cozy. The host is so nice, helpful, and attentive. Free drinks, sweets, and even ice cream are provided. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit.

Steep Stairs: One minor issue I encountered during my stay were the stairs inside.

Everything perfect, comfortable room, excellent location near train station and university, beautiful and clean house, use of kitchen and backyard.
